Tualatin Valley’s Escape Rooms
Imagine being locked in a room with a group of friends–or even strangers–and you have 60 minutes to figure your way out of the room, which will be granted only after your group successfully solves riddles, ryhmes and puzzles.
For a decade, these types of live-action, entertainment games have been opening throughout the world, and the Tualatin Valley is not immune. In recent months, five of these exciting, themed escape rooms have opened in the Tualatin Valley.
Portland Escape Rooms
Portland Escape Rooms (Beaverton) and Portland Escape Rooms (Cedar Hills) provide a thrilling, interactive adventure where 2-12 participants are locked in a themed room and have 60 minutes to discover hidden objects, gather clues, and solve puzzles to find the key to escape. It’s the perfect addition to a Tualatin Valley itinerary for visitors, team-building retreats and more. Portland Escape Room has two Tualatin Valley locations:
Escapism Portland is a live-action escape-room game, where small teams try to solve puzzles and clues and perform tasks to escape the room. The Tualatin Valley location features two adventures: “The Magician’s Menagerie” and “The Wizard’s Lair,” each accommodating teams of two to 12 people.
Combo & Key Escape Room
Combo & Key is more than an escape room, it’s also about the story, which provides participants with answers they didn’t think needed to be answered. Hear the backstory, solve the clues and get the key to escape the room.
Mental Trap Escape Rooms
Mental Trap Escape Rooms, located inside the Glowing Greens black-light, mini-golf course, is an escape room adventure offering four different game experiences, including a haunted mansion, a haunted mansion, a Dr. Frankenstein lab, plus a ghost and vampire experiences. Participants have to find clues, solve riddles and puzzles in a group effort to escape the room.
