1. Travel to a Medieval Village
Faire in the Grove invites you to experience the Middle Ages and the Renaissance from the front lawns of the McMenamins Grand Lodge (June 3-4; free). The faire brings a touch of whimsy with live music, dance, juggling and even armored combat!

2. Geek Out on Old Cars
Roll into the Washington County Fair Complex for an impressive display of Mustang Wranglers at the annual All Ford Show and Swap Meet (June 3; $5). A week later, Old Town Sherwood revs up its engines for the Cruisin’ Sherwood event with more than 500 hot rods, classic cars and vintage military vehicles (June 10; free)

June is gearing up to be a sweat-session in the Tualatin Valley with amazing running events:

4. Slow Down and Smell the Roses
The Friends of Historic Forest Grove hosts June’s quaintest offering, the Annual Garden Tour (June 4; $7-$15). Stroll the historic homes to see their takes on drought-resistant gardens, as well as a peek into vintage clothing, handmade quilts and more.

After watching the stars dot the sky, allow brightly bobbing air balloons to ignite your wonder. For thirty years, the Annual Festival of Balloons has been bringing a majestic sight to Tigard (June 23-25; $3-$5)

10. Competitive Tailgating Play
The Oregon Championships of Cornhole returns to the Tualatin Valley for two days of elevating your favorite tailgating sport (June 23-24; $45). Toss away!
