The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts  in downtown Beaverton is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the region’s creative energy in a modern, welcoming setting. This state-of-the-art venue hosts an exciting mix of live music, dance, theater, film and visual art, all within an intimate 550-seat theater that brings you closer to the performance. Professional Theatre Companies

The highly acclaimed Bag&Baggage Productions stages classic plays with contemporary twists, under the direction of Nik Whitcomb, artistic director for Bag&Baggage.

Tigard’s award-winning, professional musical theatre company, Broadway Rose, stages a variety of musical plays, from elaborate, crowd-pleasing musicals to intimate cabaret performances, as well as children’s musical productions.

The newest theatre company in Tualatin Valley is the Experience Theatre Project, which stages unique, immersive and interactive productions in different spaces around Beaverton.

Community Theatre Companies

Local actors take the stage in the valley’s community theater productions. Each company produces high-quality productions, including little-known and beloved plays, while nurturing home-grown talent.

The Beaverton Civic Theatre stages a variety of productions, from contemporary classics to modern-day shows at the Beaverton City Library Auditorium.

Hillsboro Artists’ Regional Theatre (H.A.R.T.) stages a diverse schedule of productions, from one acts and musicals to readings and classic plays.

Mask & Mirror Community Theatre is made up of actors with the mission of engaging the community artistically and socially with its productions.

Theatre in the Grove has been charming Forest Grove audiences with its own community theater company with plays and musicals featuring actors of all ages since the 1960s.
