Built to resemble a stadium, Big Al’s Sports Bar & Grill boasts wrap-around booth seating, and jumbotron, and offers game favorites such as wings, specialty salads, pizza, specialty burgers and sandwiches. Daily happy hour specials are offered on many food and drinks from the full-service bar.

Additional features include exposed trusses, metal decking, concrete floors, a painted sky ceiling, four 50″ HD plasmas, eight 42″ plasmas, AND an 14ft x 55ft jumbotron that can be viewed as three massive wide-screens or divided into any combination of smaller viewing screens.

The John Tigard House, built in 1880, is one of two Tigard-area sites listed on the National Historic Register. John Tigard was the eldest son of Wilson Tigard, the founding father of Tigardville, now known as Tigard. The house is significant in its association with John, who operated a coach route from Tigardville to Portland, and as an example of early frame construction.

Duyck’s Peachy Pig Farm is a family-friendly and family-owned and operated working farm open to the public. The farm features a large variety of animals to be seen and touched, picnic tables and a great view of the valley from their orchards.

A variety of u-pick produce is available throughout the growing season, and many items are available “ready-picked” as well. Fresh nuts are also available, including free cracking. Additional fun includes farm animal tours from May through November.

From mid-September through October, the farm offers Halloween pumpkins in patch and baby pumpkins, decorator cornstalks, a petting zoo, and an indoor market.

The Residence Inn Portland Hillsboro near the region’s high tech corridor is conveniently located near both cities of Beaverton and Hillsboro, and just 12 miles west of downtown Portland. Two meeting rooms offer 1,200 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Host your next event at Centro Cultural’s 2,085 square foot main hall located in downtown Cornelius. In “La Plaza”, the center’s large hall, groups of up to 200 are welcome. Visit their website for more information.

Pilgrim’s Roasted Nut’z is a shop located in downtown North Plains, featuring a variety of roasted nuts, including pralines, candied and dry roasted. Choose from a different types of nuts, including almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, cashews and sunflower seeds.

Purple Hen Flowers & Herbs offers a variety of beautiful hanging baskets, patio pots, flowering annuals, herbs, succulents, and lavender. Purple Hen also has a u-pick flower garden for your enjoyment.

Chuck Bafaro Stadium is a newly-remodeled baseball facility located at Pacific University that features a pitcher’s park measuring 330 ft down the base lines, 375 feet down the power alleys, & 390 feet to center field. In addition, the facility seats up to 500 spectators, has wireless internet access, & an enclosed concession stand. It houses a fully enclosed press box that is wheelchair accessible via elevator. Includes enclosed dugout with individual player lockers, adjacent, enclosed bullpens separate from the playing surface, & large storage area for grounds equipment.

Walnut Street Park is a 2.5-acre park with a basketball court, & a soccer field.
