Built to resemble a stadium, Big Al’s Sports Bar & Grill boasts wrap-around booth seating, and jumbotron, and offers game favorites such as wings, specialty salads, pizza, specialty burgers and sandwiches. Daily happy hour specials are offered on many food and drinks from the full-service bar.

Additional features include exposed trusses, metal decking, concrete floors, a painted sky ceiling, four 50″ HD plasmas, eight 42″ plasmas, AND an 14ft x 55ft jumbotron that can be viewed as three massive wide-screens or divided into any combination of smaller viewing screens.

During summer months, guided farm tours are available once a month to explore the animals, farm operation, the Helvetia Farm Market and hear about sustainable farming at Marion Acres.

Portland Birdwatching Experiences offers customized bird watching tours throughout the Portland metro area in all seasons.

Hondo Dog Park features open, mixed, and small/timid dog play areas, a loop path, and drinking water stations. The park has plenty of space to run and it easy to find, being located near Hillsboro Stadium. The park also features a special winter use area that can be enjoyed year-round.

Hours: Open daily from dawn to dusk with evening lighting for winter nights.

Please note: The park may periodically close certain areas (Main & Mixed Dog Areas and Small and Timid Dog Area) during winter months at 4 p.m. to protect the grass and maintain an enjoyable and safe dog park. Water may also not be on seasonally. These areas are also closed Monday and Thursday mornings until Noon for maintenance.

Did you know…

• This park is Hillsboro’s very first off-leash dog park which opened in September 2017.
• The park is named in honor of Hillsboro Police K9 Dog Officer “Hondo,” who lost his life in the line of duty in 1997. He is the only Hillsboro Police K9 to die in the line of duty.

Murrayhill Park is a 0.41-acre public park on bus route with two tennis courts, trails, and playground. No vehicle access.

The Duck Store at Washington Square Mall carries a wide variety of University of Oregon sportswear ranging from infant and children’s clothing to ladies’ and men’s attire. The store also carries memorabilia perfect for the car, home and beyond.

Twin Oaks Nurseries is a farm and garden store, located in a quaint red barn. This nursery sells nursery stock, hanging baskets and more.
