Theater Performances Near Portland

Tualatin Valley offers professional and community productions ranging from children’s theater and toe-tapping musicals to edgy and interactive. These are the upcoming theater performances from our companies.

Virtual Theater

The performing arts have been impacted by COVID-19 and many productions have been cancelled or rescheduled. In the meantime, local companies are putting on unique virtual performances online.

Bag&Baggage is performing “Sequestered Soliloquies.” Over the course of 24 hours, 10 teams (playwright, actor, and director) created, rehearsed, and performed brand-new monologues. The monologues were performed live on Saturday, April 25, but you can still watch them on Facebook.

Broadway Rose Theatre Company is launching a live cabaret series starting Wednesay, May 6. Tune in via Facebook at YouTube at 1 p.m. to see a new performance each other.

Experience Theatre Project put on a one night only performance of “The Turn of the Screw,” performed live from actors’ homes. Experience Theatre Project is known for its immersive performances in unique venues, so bringing you a show from home will be an interesting new challenge. They hope to do an encore performce. TBD.

Watch this space! More theater events will be added as they are announced.
