Outdoor Dining Areas in Oregon’s Tualatin Valley

We need more space these days and dining outside has never been better. In Oregon’s Tualatin Valley, many businesses are expanding their outdoor dining space to allow more space for more people.

Open Air Beaverton

In downtown Beaverton, several businesses are getting creative with their outdoor seating. Beaverton’s “Restaurant Row” is even better with extra space outside as restaurants have taken over street parking spots.

Favorite Ex Novo has five new tables spaced 10 feet apart for beer lovers to enjoy Detroit-style pizza and locally brewed beer.

Syndicate Wine Bar not only has picnic tables in its private parking lot, it has decked out former street parking spaces, turning them into patios with lounge chairs, umbrellas, lights and even “grass” to complete the ambiance. Reservations are strongly recommended as is bringing food from surrounding businesses.

Family Cafe, Bistro Royale, Raindrop Taphouse and Afuri have also expanded their dining area into parking spaces.

Beaverton’s 1st Street Commons is another option for outdoor dining. Order takeout (including closed containers of alcohol) from any downtown business and enjoy it at covered tables in the closed off block of SW 1st Street between SW Watson and SW Washington Avenues.

The BG’s Food Cartel also has plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the many options the food cart pod has to offer.

Public parking is available in downtown Beaverton at the city library lot (home of the Beaverton Farmers Market)
