Get Ready to Rock!

The sun-soaked days of summer are here, and  the valley is alive with the sounds of live music.  Get ready to sway to the rhythm and immerse yourself in the magic of music.

Beaverton Music Festival

Evelyn Schiffler Memorial Park | Beaverton | August 24 | Free
The Beaverton Music Festival is a day full of live music and fun for the whole family. Several bands will be performing all genres of music, from rock and soul to Latin and country. There will also be food trucks, a beer and wine garden and more. More information to come.

Concerts in the Grove Series

In addition to the music festivals, McMenamins Grand Lodge is home to its Concerts in the Grove, which features national and international musical artists for a fun and intimate outdoor concert experience. Get tickets >>>

Sherwood Music Fest

The first-ever Sherwood Music Fest takes to the stage in late July for a weekend of hot foods and cool tunes. The festival features an exciting lineup of 10 bands playing a diverse range of
music genres–from rock and jazz to folk and blues–that will appeal to all ages and tastes.

July 26 Schedule:

  • 5-6:15 p.m. Ben Rice & The PDX Hustle (Americana/blues)
  • 6:45-8 p.m. Unpause (rock/blues)
  • 8:30-10 p.m. Remedy (rock/dance)

July 27 Schedule:

  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fenix Rising (rock fusion)
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. Fortunate Son (Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band)
  • 2-3 p.m. Countryside Ride  (honky-tonk)
  • 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wheel in the Sky (Journey tribute band)
  • 5-6 p.m. Son De Cuba (Latin)
  • 6:30-7:45 p.m. Andrew Matthews Band (rock)
  • 8:15-10 p.m. 5 Guys Named Moe (’80s/dance)

Brews for the Birds

Langer’s Entertainment Center | Sherwood | August 2-3
Festival, happening at Langer’s Entertainment in Sherwood, Oregon. Free admission and family-friendly event.

August 2 Schedule:
  • 4–6 p.m. The Dudes (rock)
  • 7–9 p.m. The Lloyd Jones Struggle (blues)
August 3 Schedule:
  • 1–3 p.m. Ja Ska Mon (reggae)
  • 4–6 p.m. Filthy Skillets (bluegrass)
  • 7–9 p.m. Swamp Thang (Zydeco)

Hillsboro Music Fest

Shute Park | Hillsboro | August 3 | Free
The Hillsboro Music Fest is a daylong music extravaganza featuring a slate of bands playing styles ranging from country, blues and latin.

Schedule:

  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Robert Henry and the Repeaters (country)
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Daniel Castro Band (blues)
  • 2:15-3:45 p.m. Conjunto Allegre (Latin)
  • 4:30-6 p.m. The Southern Sons (Southern rock)
  • 6:30-8 p.m. Catherine Loyer & Strawberry Roan (country, rock, pop and blues)

BBQ, Brews & Bluegrass Festival

Brix Tavern | Tualatin | August 4 | $25-50 | Ages 21 and older only
Enjoy a day of great food, beer tastings and live music. BBQ station, beer garden and cash bar will be available. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
