Tualatin Valley Celebrates Pride Month with Multiple Events

June is Pride Month and Tualatin Valley is celebrating like never before. These family-friendly events are taking place throughout the month in celebration of our LGBTQ+ community.

These PRIDE events are dedicated to uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices, celebrating LGBTQIA+ culture, raising awareness of issues affecting the community and supporting LGBTQIA+ rights.

Kickoff Pride Month Dance Party | Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center | 6-8 p.m. |Beaverton | All ages | FREE
Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District kicks-off this year’s Pride Month with a dance party open to all ages. Enjoy a fun-filled evening on the dance floor with a DJ spinning tunes, creating the perfect vibe for dancing and celebration. In addition to dancing, kid-friendly activities, fun games and activities will be available.

Pride Month kicks off in Hillsboro at Shute Park. Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride at Pride Party, a free, all-ages, family-welcoming festival. The event will be headlined by acclaimed drag performer Poison Waters and live music from Major Tomboys, an all-femme David Bowie tribute band. Enjoy arts and crafts vendors, live music and entertainment, tasty food and beverage options and more.

Friends of Dorothy: A Queer Cabaret | Beaverton | 7:30 p.m. | All ages | $25

In celebration of PRIDE, the Friends of Dorothy cabaret returns to The Reser with an entertaining show featuring dancing, singing and drag queens. Poison Waters hosts the show, featuring “the cream of the crop” from the local entertainment landscape for a one-of-a-kind live show.

Pride Celebration | Tigard | 2-5 p.m. | All ages | FREE
The city of Tigard is hosting a Pride Celebration, which starts with a parade and culminates in a celebration at Tigard High School. The festival features activities, food, live music and more, and is to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and supporters.

Pride Beaverton | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | All ages | FREE
Beaverton City Park will again host Pride Beaverton for an afternoon of crafts, entertainment, food, and drinks for Beaverton Pride. Enjoy live music, food, crafts and more. Don’t miss the return of Sir Cupcake’s Queer Circus, where performers entertain, lift hearts and open minds by telling stories using circus arts.
