Where Can You Find the Jolly Old Elf?
‘Tis that time of year when Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus make their annual visit to Tualatin Valley. There are plenty of opportunities to see Santa, as well as spend some time with Mrs. Claus.
BRIDGEPORT VILLAGE
Bridgeport Village’s Holiday Parade and Celebration at kicks off the holiday season, Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join in for a morning of joy and laughter and holiday cheers, Watch Santa’s arrival to his Holiday gingerbread cottage, meet Mrs. Claus and her North Pole friends, and enjoy musical entertainment, arts and crafts and more.
Starting November 22, kids can meet and have their pictures taken with the jolly fellow and also meet Mrs. Claus. Reservations are required for all visits with Santa ($20 deposit is required).

- “Silent Santa” (sensory-friendly): Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14
- Pet photos with Santa: Nov. 25; Dec. 2, 9, 16
- Holiday Storytime at Barnes & Noble: 11 a.m. on Dec. 3, 4, 10, 11 (featuring Santa’s elves) and Dec. 17, 18 (special appearance by Mrs. Claus)
WASHINGTON SQUARE
Meet the “Big Guy,” have a photo taken and share your wish list with Santa and his helpers. “Hipster Santa,” a Portland favorite, returns to Washington Square this season. Whether you’re feeling Naughty or Nice, put on your flannel, show off your tattoos and get a photo with the most Portland Santa around. Reservations are highly recommended.

- Hipster Santa: Dec. 4, 11, 18, 4-7 p.m.
- Santa Pet Night: Nov. 10, 17, 24; Dec. 1,8; 4-7 p.m.
