The longest running thriller on Broadway comes to Bag&Baggage Productions in The Vault Theater on Main Street in downtown Hillsboro. War of the Worlds | The Vault Theater | October 23-24
To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the cast of Fake Radio proudly recreated, in its entirety, the radio broadcast that shocked an entire nation: The War of the Worlds (October 23-24), just in time for Halloween. Production was held at The Vault in downtown Hillsboro.
Community Theater Productions
Based on the Emmy award-winning 1970s cartoon, the Beaverton Civic Theatre presented Schoolhouse Rock Live! (September 28-October 13). The show follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, all to the tunes that many of us grew up on watching Saturday Morning Cartoons.
