ORGANIZATION UPDATES
ETV’s “Near and Dear” Campaign Earns Multiple Awards
Tualatin Valley’s ‘Near and Dear’ campaign, which was created by Sparkloft Media, Explore Tualatin Valley’s agency of record, has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike, while earning multiple prestigious awards for its creative celebration of this diverse destination’s unique charm.
Cozy Season Holiday Open House
ETV’s Cozy Season Holiday Open House was a resounding success. The staff was happy to break bread with our tourism partners from around the region! We were also excited to have some of our mayors pay a visit!
More than 60 items, including toiletries, hats and gloves, were donated. All donations will be donated to the Good Neighbor Center in Tigard, which supports families in need.
Everyone who brought an item for donation were entered into a drawing for Cozy Season gift baskets brimming with Tualatin Valley delights. Congratulations to our winners:
- Ruth Buck, Embassy Suites by Hilton Tigard Portland
- Ilyas Khairi, Marquee Chauffeur
- Kariss Olague, TownePlace Suites Portland Beaverton
Thank you to all of you who stopped by to help us celebrate the holiday season!
Sales Update – Wendy Represents ETV at Connect
Making connections! Wendy Popkin, vice president of sales, is making connections at Connect Pacific Northwest, where she represented the Wingspan Event & Conference Center and our hotel and event partners. There, she met with 29 planners who are seeking new event sites. The tradeshow follows a ‘speed-dating’ format, a process Wendy found both energizing and efficient. Curious about the experience? Take a peek at a typical session.

ETV Welcomes Deadstock Coffee Roasters

Located next door to Binary Brewing, Deadstock Coffee is a Black-owned coffee spot where it sells “snob-free” coffee. New to Bethany: Radii Pi
Radii Pi (“Ray-dee-eye Pie”) is a new pizzeria from the owners of Bethany’s Table where “math nerds and foodies find common ground.” They use locally farmed produce and antibiotic- and hormone-free meats on their pizzas and pastas. The small menu includes traditional favorites, as well as rotating specials.
Tualatin Valley Creates Announces New Creatives Directory
Tualatin Valley Creates released its new Creatives Directory, a complimentary directory for creative and cultural organizations and businesses, non-profits and freelance creatives that support and serve Washington County’s creative scene. If you’re an artist looking for greater visibility, collaboration and opportunities — including marketing, web development, musicians-for-hire, muralists, copy editing and more, can sign up — or if you’re looking for a local creative, you can find them using the directory.
