Meet local owners, winemakers, chefs, artists and merchants while discovering places and experiences you’ll be excited to recommend to your guests.
Designed for Hospitality Professionals, this event is ideal for hotel general managers, visitor services staff, concierge teams, sales and marketing professionals meeting and event planners and front desk associates.

Travel Portland’s Partner Summit
Join more than 200 tourism and hospitality professionals across the Portland region on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Portland – Columbia Riverfront for the 2026 Travel Portland Partner Summit.
This year’s theme, “Own the Experience: Stewarding Portland’s Future Together,” calls on every partner to embrace their role in creating a welcoming, vibrant and resilient Portland. Together, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to steward Portland’s future.
Hear from keynote luncheon panelists Ashley Battle, VP of Basketball Operations, Strategy and Innovation for the Portland Fire, and Mike Thelin, Founder of Bolt Consulting, and gain practical insights through educational breakout sessions and meaningful networking opportunities.
Who should attend? Hospitality professionals, destination organizations, hotels, attractions, restaurants, retailers, transportation providers, community organizations, meeting professionals and anyone who helps shape Portland’s visitor experience.

Driving Tourism Through Partnerships
In order to increase visitation to Tualatin Valley, ETV is working with local businesses to create new experiences that will bring in visitors year-round.
Trails & Brews: Summer Collaboration
This summer, ETV partnered with local breweries on a summer beer series inspired by local trails. In September, the “Trail Tracker Kolsch,” a collaboration with Binary Brewing, Lazy Days Brewing and 787 Brewing, will be available all month (while supplies last) across all three partner taprooms.
Women’s Adventure Weekend
ETV is partnering with House of Outdoor Creature on a Women’s Adventure Weekend this October 22-25. This event is funded in part by a grant from Travel Oregon.

Explore Tualatin Valley is accepting applications for two FY 2026–27 tourism grant programs supporting projects and events that attract visitors and strengthen Washington County’s cultural and economic vitality.
Foundation Strategic Investment Grant
- Up to $20,000/project | $75,000 total available
- Supports tourism-related projects, including public art, historic preservation, cultural heritage, signage, and more
- Apply: July 21–September 15, 2026
- Awards announced: December 15, 2026

Heart & Inspiration Event Awards
- Up to $5,000/event | $25,000 available per cycle
- Supports public events that encourage overnight visitation and celebrate the region’s cultural vibrancy
- Cycle 1: July 31–September 15 | Events Nov. 2026–May 2027
- Cycle 2: January 1–March 15 | Events June–Oct. 2027
- Awards announced: October 31, 2026 & May 31, 2027
Eligibility
Washington County-based 501(c) nonprofits, tribal organizations, and government agencies. Events must be visitor-facing and tourism-aligned.
