WCVA Announces Daniel Gering as Marketing Manager

Tourism Professional Brings Wealth of Tourism of Experience to the Region

BEAVERTON, ORE. (December 21, 2022) — The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is pleased to announce Daniel Gering has joined the organization as its new digital marketing manager. In his new role, Daniel will be charged with managing the WCVA’s digital advertising campaigns, online marketing programs, website, and social media presence.

Daniel has vast tourism experience in the state of Oregon, including nearly 15 years at Clackamas County Tourism and Cultural Affairs (dba Mt. Hood Territory), where he was a marketing technologist responsible for the organization’s customer relationship management database, website and other marketing strategies.

“We are pleased to welcome Daniel to the Washington County Visitors Association,” said Dave Parulo, president and CEO of the WCVA. “His deep-rooted knowledge of the tourism industry, digital marketing and technologies are a welcome addition to the team.”

Most recently, Daniel was a tourism program specialist for the City of Oregon City, where he enhanced the usability of the traveloregoncity.com website, produced content for tourism social media and print marketing, and managed additional programs for the city’s tourism efforts.

Daniel received a Bachelor of Science degree in social science from Western Orgon State College in Monmouth, Ore.
