Valentine’s Day Weekend(s)

When Valentine’s Day falls smack dab in the middle of the week, it can—at first!—seem a little ho-hum, but not Tualatin Valley. Enjoy a post-Valentine’s weekend and point Cupid’s arrow toward Tualatin Valley, booking a romance hotel package with one of the many hotel properties offering a deal in honor of the month of love. Once you’ve checked into your hotel, let us help with how to fill up your weekend.

Valentine’s Weekend February 15-17

TheValentine’s Wine Tasting Loop will have you loopy with love for Oregon Pinot while visiting any of the 12 participating Willamette Valley wineries,  As a fun nod to the holiday of love, many of the wineries may preview their upcoming rosé releases. We’re rallying to make rosé the official drink of February. NOTE: The Valentine’s Wine Loop has been extended through February 17th.

The Tualatin Valley is a great Valentine’s getaway for the anti-romantics, too. Switch bubbly and bouquets for fun runs and beer. Start your Saturday with a breezy 5K or 10K at the annual Chocolatathan. Post run, you’ll enjoy a hot chocolate bar with all the toppings—we’re talkin’ whipped cream, caramel syrup, butterscotch and pretty much every other sugary topping.

That’s not your last beverage of the day, though. Zwickelmania in the ‘Burbs adds a hoppy zest to Valentine’s weekend each year with its behind-the-scenes brewery tours, tastings, and meet-the-brewer events.

Whether with a honey or a group of friends, celebrating Valentine’s Day in Tualatin Valley is a sure-fire good time.
