Art Walks and Garden Tours

Beaverton Farmers Market flowers in the Tualatin Valley

With spring inching closer to summer, the gardens of Tualatin Valley are in full bloom. Sprinkle in some pops of art, and you have the recipe for relaxing events that epitomize this time of year.

Downtown Tigard Art Walk | May 31-June 2
This event invites artists out of their studios, museums and galleries and into downtown Tigard for an art-themed event. Along the art walk, you’ll see all sorts of artistic mediums: painters, illustrators, photographers, metalsmiths, jewelers, potters, sculptors, musicians, actors and dancers. Join local artists and businesses for a weekend of art in downtown Tigard. Shop, dine, stroll and explore the arts – street side.

Raleigh Park Garden Tour | June 1 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. | $20+
The 12th annual Raleigh Park Garden Tour starts at the teaching garden Raleigh Park Elementary, located just outside of Beaverton. The self-guided tour showcases a diversity of gardens, including a suburban farm, experimental garden, a French-inspired garden and more.

Historic Forest Grove Garden Tour | June 2 | 12-4 p.m. | $12-15
Explore backyard beauty and discover “Sunday in the Garden” when Friends of Historic Forest Grove hosts its Annual Garden Tour. Six beautiful gardens will be on tour, stretching from historic Old Town Forest Grove to the modern Forest Gale Heights neighborhood. Each of the gardens will take you back to easy-going summer days by featuring displays of vintage board games and lawn games.

Hillsboro First Tuesday Art Walk | June 4 | 5-8 p.m.
Leisurely walk through downtown Hillsboro, taking in the area’s great art scene. Galleries and stores will keep their doors open into the evening for art lovers with snacks, wine and displays from local artists.

Can’t make these events? Visit our other gardens, such as Rood Bridge Park and Rhododendron Garden, or our prestigious garden shops, Al’s Garden Center and Cornell Farm.  Art lovers can stroll the self-guided art walks all year long.
