HOLIDAY FESTIVALS, MARKETPLACES AND FAIRS
Holiday in the Grove (Downtown Forest Grove) | December 3, 2022 | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This day-long event features an Artisans Holiday Market and Holiday Light Parade.
Beaverton Holiday Bazaar | December 3, 2022 | 2-8 p.m.
Festivities begin with the Beaverton High School Holiday Bazaar and culminates with the annual tree lighting at 7 p.m.
Sherwood Holiday Festival | December 3, 2022 | 4-6:15 p.m.
Old Town Sherwood is the location for the annual festive parade and tree lighting.
Tualatin Holiday Lights Parade | Various Locations | December 2-4 | 7 p.m.
The Tualatin Holiday Lights Parades features a parade of vehicles that light up the night with sparkling lights through more than 20 miles of neighborhood streets.
- Friday, December 2 – North Parade (Includes neighborhoods around Community Park and Jurgens Park)
- Saturday, December 3 – South Parade (Includes neighborhoods around Ibach Park and Tualatin High School)
- Sunday, December 4 – East Parade (Includes neighborhoods around Atfalati Park and Browns Ferry Park)
Lightopia: An Illuminated Journey | Gordon Faber Recreational Complex (Hillsboro Stadium) | December 3-31
Take a 1/2-mile drive through a glimmering winter landscape this holiday season. This brilliant attraction features an astounding number of lights with seasonal light vignettes ranging from funny to dazzling. Lightopia is closed on Christmas Day. A Drunk Christmas Carol (Vol. II) | Experience Theatre Project | December 17, 2022 | $25-$45
Follow a classically-trained theater troupe as two randomly chosen actors take five shots of whiskey, then over-confidently attempt to perform the best reader’s theatre they can in presenting Charles Dickens’s classic tale. Hilarity and mayhem are sure to ensue as the three sober actors attempt to keep the script on track all the while tormenting the drinking actors.
