Tualatin Valley Celebrates Pride Month with Multiple Events
June is Pride Month and Tualatin Valley is celebrating like never before. These physically-distanced, COVID-safe family-friendly events are taking place throughout the month in celebration of our LGBTQ+ community.
Hillsboro Pride Party Concert | Gordon Faber Recreation Complex (Hillsboro Stadium)
June 5 | 4-6 p.m. | $5 per person | All ages | Buy tickets >>>
Hillsboro’s Pride Party Concert features Poison Waters & Friends, The CJ Mickens Band, and Olivia Klugman. The concert will be physically-distanced and masks will be required for all attendees. Concert is all ages but will be most enjoyable for teens and adults. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Pride Month 5K Run | Orenco Woods Nature Park
June 19 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. | $5 entry fee (includes Pride T-shirt) | All ages
Lace up your shoes, gather the family, and celebrate Pride Month at Orenco Woods Nature Park for a 5k Run. Whether this is your first 5k or your 50th, run, skip or walk your way to the finish. Sign up for a specific start time to allow for current physical distancing requirements. Children 17 and under can run for free.
Pride Month Chalk Art Festival | Hidden Creek Community Center (5100 NE Hidden Creek Drive, Hillsboro) | June 24 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Free | All ages
You’re invited to bring your artistic talents and participate in a chalk art contest on Hidden Creek Community Center’s outdoor terrace. This year’s theme is: What does love mean to you? Live music provided by Bach 2 Rock Tanasbourne and treats provided by Handzy. Register to ensure your spot.

Beaverton City Park will host Pride Beaverton for an afternoon of crafts, entertainment, food, and drinks for Beaverton Pride. Emcee extraordinaire Poison Waters and Pride Beaverton’s DJ Ticole Waller will keep you on your toes all day long!
