June is Pride Month and Tualatin Valley is celebrating like never before. These family-friendly events are taking place throughout the month in celebration of our LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Party | Jerry Willey Plaza | 12-7 p.m. | Hillsboro | FREE
Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride at Pride Party, a free, all-ages, family-welcoming festival. This year’s event will be headlined this year by acclaimed drag performer Poison Waters and dance pop group The CJ Mickens Band, with other special artists to be announced. The city of Tigard is hosting a Pride Celebration, which starts with a parade and culminates in a celebration at Tigard High School.

Pride Month 5K Run at Hidden Creek | $10 for ages 18+ | Free for ages 17 and under
Lace up your shoes, gather the family, and celebrate Pride Month! Pride 5K starts and ends at Hidden Creek Community Center. Stay after the race for some live music and activities for the whole family. Plus, every participant receives a free Pride Shirt! This event is rain or shine. An accessible route is available. “Big Gay Beaverton Pride Parade” | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | All ages
Beaverton City Park will host Pride Beaverton for an afternoon of crafts, entertainment, food, and drinks for Beaverton Pride. Emcee extraordinaire Poison Waters and a DJ will keep you on your toes all day long!
