Here in Oregon, Rosé wines are not the sweet bombs you may equate to these refreshing pink drinks. These elegant, sparkling and crisp wines pair well with food and friends. So, hop in the car for an impromptu wine country weekend—it’s time to see the summer through rose-tinted glasses (and we do mean wine glasses).
Where to Find Sparkling Rosé in Tualatin Valley
Apolloni Vineyards Estate Sparkling Rosé, sourced exclusively from their estate-grown Pinot Noir, is a traditional Italian-style sparkling wine that is crisp and fruity.
Cooper Mountain Vineyards, a biodynamic and organic winery, features a sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir, which is made with no additives, chemicals or sugar. It’s “sunshine in a glass.”
Hawks View Winery has its own sparkling Rosé, which they call the “quintessential summer in Oregon wine,” and is made from its best estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes.
Ponzi Vineyards Winery is the place to find a satisfying sparkling. The Sparkling Brut Rosé is a popular wine, as its méthode champenoise (Champagne method) is rather irresistible.
Raptor Ridge Winery also uses the Champagne method to create its Sparkling Brut Rosé made from Pinot Noir grapes. The effervescent bubbles elegantly frame the fruity and chocolate flavors of the wine.
Resolu Cellars‘ sourced grapes for its 2021 Méthode Champenoise Rosé Sparkling Wine from the Clement Hills, nested in the Lodi AVA in California. This crisp sparkling wine is a fruit-forward sipper for the summer.
Enjoy the sparkling tastes of Tualatin Valley’s Rosés. Cheers!
