It’s no secret that we are wild about wine in Tualatin Valley. With more than 30 wineries — the closest wineries to the city of Portland! — how can we not be excited to share the taste of the valley. If you love wine, then add these wine events to your calendar and make plans to visit Tualatin Valley to experience the magic of Oregon wine country.

Taste Local in the North Willamette | March 21-22, 2020 | Tickets: $45-55
Plan a visit to Tualatin Valley this spring and experience a new wine event: Taste Local in the North Willamette. This two-day wine festival showcases the unique, elegant and expressive wines produced by Tualatin Valley’s wineries. The event kicks off at McMenamins Grand Lodge with a wine festival featuring 20 wineries, each showcasing their wines. The second day features two special complimentary tastings — valued at $20-25 per tasting — at your choice of participating wineries (included in the price of your festival ticket). Early-bird tickets are $45 per person and are on sale now.

Memorial Day Wine Weekend | May 23-25, 2020 | Tasting fees vary
Memorial Weekend in Wine Country is an Oregon tradition. Wineries throughout the Willamette Valley invite guests to celebrate the dawn of summer during Memorial Day weekend. Discover wineries in the Northern Willamette Valley during the open houses over the holiday weekend, when most wineries are open, including several that are not regularly open to the public. This annual event features tastings of new releases, barrel samples, food pairings, live music and other activities.

Sherwood Wine Festival and Artisans Fair | June 26-27, 2020 | Tickets: $10-15
Sherwood’s 4th Annual Wine Festival and Artisans Fair celebrates the artistry of local handcrafted beverages, food, arts and crafts. As one of the gateways to Oregon wine country, the small city of Sherwood plays host to the region’s finest flavors, sights and sounds, and features local artists, live music, tasty eats from local food vendors, and tasting samples from local wineries, breweries and cider makers.

Drink Pink Rosé Festival |July 11, 2020 | Tickets: $75
Some of the finest wineries in the Willamette Valley gather at Patton Valley Vineyards at the annual Drink Pink Rosé Festival to celebrate the quintessential summer wine: Rosé. This outdoor grand tasting event includes complimentary tastings, live music, food and more.

Canines Uncorked | August 1, 2020
Oregon’s premier dog-friendly wine tour, Canines Uncorked, returns to Tualatin Valley this summer. Bring your pup and take a self-guided tour of more than a dozen wineries in the north Willamette Valley, where dogs are among the guests of honor. Purchase a “License to Taste” passport, which includes free wine tastings, hands-on activities for both humans and dogs at each participating winery, a commemorative wine glass to keep and two complimentary tasting cards valid at participating wineries during August.

Forest Grove Uncorked! | August (dates to be announced) | Admission: $10
At Forest Grove Uncorked! local wine (craft beer and food, too) are given the red carpet treatment every August in the city of Forest Grove. Sample the tastes of the northern Willamette Valley, while enjoying live music, great food and fine local hospitality in a street-fair atmosphere.

Thanksgiving Wine Weekend | November 27-29, 2020 | Tasting fees vary
Give thanks to Oregon wine during Thanksgiving Wine Weekend with special tastings, pairings and festivities. During this holiday weekend, most wineries throughout the famed Willamette Valley open their doors for a weekend of new release wine tastings, treats and nibbles, local artisan craft vendors, live music and more.
