Lavender Farms in Oregon's Tualatin Valley
Ahh…the fresh, relaxing scent of lavender fills Tualatin Valley air during the warm summer months. Take home a bundle of freshly cut lavender, dried and culinary lavender, soaps and bath products, and many other beautifully hand-crafted items.
Lavender Season: July 2024
Enjoy visiting lavender farms and fields at the height of Oregon’s growing season, where each farm offers its own selection of different varieties, as well as special activities at each farm.
Lavender is very short (but fragrant), so head out to a lavender farm in July to pick your own bouquet, visit a local farmers market or attend the annual Helvetia Lavender Festival (July 5-7 and July 12-14) at Helvetia Lavender Farm. Stroll through the fields and enjoy u-cut or pre-cut lavender, watch a lavender distillation and lavender wreath demonstrations, and shop local artisan vendors that feature all things lavender. The neighboring estate winery, Eagles Nest Reserve Vineyards will be open to the public for tastings and bottle sales during the Lavender Festival weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
