Nestled in the Tualatin Valley between Portland and the Pacific Ocean, Hillsboro was founded in 1842 and incorporated in 1876. Hillsboro is Oregon’s fifth largest city with over 100,000 residents and is home to over 1,500 acres of designated green spaces, including the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. Hillsboro is also home to many events and festivals, as well as the annual International Air Show and the Hillsboro Hops baseball team.
