Collective Kitchen is a collaborative work-space for local artisans. Located in Historic downtown Hillsboro, the unique collective offers a variety of creative classes, from how to make macarons to hand-lettering workshops. Founded by Mindy Simmons, who also owns a successful bakery located on the same property, the mission of Collective Kitchen is to incubate small craft businesses and preserve hand-made traditions for future generations.
More than just a cooking school, this unique shop hosts a weekly Heavy Metal Yoga” session every Tuesday (drop-ins welcome), an escape room and more. The collective now features eight local farmer’s market food vendors and food carts, a cooking classroom for in-house and guest chefs to share the skills of their trade, as well as tenant spaces for lease that currently house D’Anu Winery, Black Sheep Fibers, Casa Crafty, and 3 Blind Mice Gallery.
Please visit the Collective Kitchen website for current class schedule, vendor and event information.
