Steeped in tradition, Sherwood mixes the old and new, creating a burgeoning new city that mixes urban lifestyle with old-time charm. Sherwood’s historic “Old Town” is the community’s center, hosting many of the city-wide festivals and events, such as the annual Robin Hood Festival. Antique and specialty shops, teahouses, historic buildings and wineries dot the city. It’s an homage to small-town living from an era that has long past by. Not far from the city’s center are the protected wetlands of one of the few urban wildlife refuges in the U.S.
The mission of the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce is to give value to members and the community through innovation and bold leadership and programs that develop the business climate.
