Tillamook Forest Center



Experience the region’s largest interpretive and educational center showcasing the legacy of the historic Tillamook Burn and the public spirit behind a monumental reforestation effort that’s part of Oregon’s history. Visitors are invited to discover lessons of the past, present and future at this dynamic facility with hands-on learning opportunities, and develop a deeper connection with Oregon’s forests through experience and exploration – for free. Note that the Center is typically closed from late November through late February.

Hours of Operation:

  • Spring: Open Wed-Sun, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Opening March 1
  • Summer: Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial Day-Labor Day
  • Fall: Open Wed-Sun, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Labor Day-End of November
  • Winter: Closed December-End of February
