The Reser’s debut of Worlds of Song brings together three extraordinary soloists who are reshaping musical boundaries. The show consists of short solo sets from each player alongside duets and trios for a true ‘one time only’ experience.
Brian Gore – Guitar Poet: Bringing his experience as founder of International Guitar Night , Brian Gore will act is host of Worlds of Song. He’ll play songs from his latest album, “Seek the Love You’re Yearning.”
Badi Assad: A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Badi is one of the world’s most respected guitar players. She’s also an innovative performing songwriter who pioneered a “one-woman-band” style that blends vocal percussion and body rhythms.
Fabiola Méndez: As a Puerto Rican cuatrista, singer, and composer, Fabiola Méndez showcases the rich musical traditions of her homeland. On the heels of her “Tiny Desk” performance, NPR notes that in singer “Méndez’s hands, the cuatro becomes not just an example of a rich, Afro-Caribbean culture, but also an instrument to spread joy.”
