Join the Salmonberry Trail Foundation as they tour the Learning Mile of the Future Salmonberry Trail.
It's a great opportunity to get outdoors and connect with fellow nature lovers over the holiday weekend. Led by Kira Taylor, a Master Naturalist and Chair of the Flora and Fauna Committee of the Salmonberry Trail, they will guide you through a slow paced nature walk, show casing all the beautiful species one can see in Washington County.
This is an easy 1.8 mile hike perfect for the whole family. The group will start out on NW Fisher Rd and Hwy 47 (the future Buxton Trailhead for the Salmonberry Trail) and hike to Williams Creek to hopefully see salmon spawning in the creek.
