Be a Part of the “Jingle thru North Plains” Parade and the Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 4th, 2025.
This will be the 22nd year for the North Plains Jingle Parade. North Plains individuals, families, friends, and organizations are encouraged to decorate anything that moves and participate in the parade.
Some folks decorate trucks and trailers, others bring the family car, and many residents rent golf carts from J & S Golf Carts on Main Street at (503) 647-1984. Motorcycles and bicycles can join as well. It is up to you to keep pace with the parade, which moves about 10 miles an hour, and have a light or two you can attach to your wheeled vehicle.
Line up info: 6-6:30 pm entries line up at the parking area between the medical office and La Lotería. The parade will end in front of the Senior Center. The procession lasts about 30 minutes.
