Daimh, a Gaelic supergroup and the undisputed champions of straight-in-the-eye Highland music, hail from West Lochaber and the Isle of Skye. Joining them on this tour is world-renowned fiddler Alasdair White.
Formed around the turn of the century and named after the Gaelic word for kinship, Daimh (pronounced “Dive”) has brought their contemporary take on Highland and Gaelic music to over 20 countries, captivating audiences from Moscow to San Francisco. Known as giants of the bagpipes and fiddle, Angus Mackenzie and Gabe McVarish lead the melodic charge, with fellow founding member Ross Martin laying down the groove on guitar. The band’s lineup is rounded out by newcomer Murdo “Yogi” Cameron on mandola and accordion.
