The West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta takes place on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Lake of the Commons in Tualatin, OR (8325 SW Nyberg Street). What began in 2004 as a playful idea from the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers has become a nationally recognized fall festival, drawing spectators from across the region and beyond to watch costumed paddlers race across the lake in giant hollowed-out pumpkins supplied by PGVG.
The day features multiple pumpkin boat races, alongside live performances, a kids’ costume contest, pumpkin games such as bowling and golf, face painting, craft booths, professional pumpkin carving, and food vendors. Admission and most activities are free, and shuttle and bike valet services are available.
