Vertigo Brewing has been making acclaimed beer in Hillsboro for more than a decade. Vertigo uses a seven-barrel system —designed by Portland company, Ager Tank Equipment–that produces a unique blend of beer, and allows Vertigo to produce its house beers more readily, as well as create “one-off” specialty brews. The tap room features up to seven beers on tap, including Razz Wheat, Harvest Hefe, Arctic Blast Vanilla Porter, Smokestack Red, Friar Mike’s IPA and more.

Arcade 2084 in downtown Hillsboro will take you back in time. The arcade is full of classic ’80s games like Robotron 2084 and Jr. Pac-Man that cost just $.25 and always has ’80s music playing, giving it the perfect retro feel. Skywater Tea House offers “Afternoon Tea,” a British tea-related ritual that features light bights, such as finger sandwiches, scones, sweet pastries and cakes. The tea menu features dozens of teas, including herbal tisanes and non-caffeinated teas and English and Asian teas.
