Thank you, Deanna Palm
After 24 years as president of the Washington County Chamber and six years on ETV’s Board of Directors, Deanna Palm is retiring. ETV extends heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Deanna for her unwavering commitment to tourism in Tualatin Valley and her invaluable service on our board. Since joining the board in 2019, she has been a trusted voice and dedicated advocate, guiding ETV through the challenges of the pandemic and beyond. We wish Deanna all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
Ariel Lessens Represents ETV at the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Summit
ETV’s destination development manager, Ariel Lessens, represented Tualatin Valley at the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Summit in Pendleton last week. The summit brought together Oregon’s outdoor community to learn, build relationships and find solutions to challenges in developing and elevating outdoor recreation opportunities. In her role, Ariel has connected with outdoor recreation partners at Tualatin Riverkeepers, NW Trails Alliance, Metro Parks, Oregon Department of Forestry and People of Color Outdoors.
BearKat Brewing: Sherwood’s New Hub for Beer
Sherwood has a new reason to raise a glass. BearKat Brewing, a female-owned, community-focused brewery, is quickly becoming a gathering spot where locals can savor great beer, enjoy elevated bites and connect with friends old and new.
