It’s a wrap on Spring Sips and Pink!, and what a month it has been! Not only did we receive record attendance at the 4th Annual Pink! Rosé Fest, the Spring Sips website also enjoyed record high traffic. ETV also increased visibility of the month-long promotion via a series of broadcast interviews on Portland CW, an affiliate of KOIN 6, that highlighted wine bars and tasting rooms and women in wine.

Foundation & Inspiration Awards Applications Open July 1

ETV will begin accepting applications for its Strategic Investment Program Awards. Projects that will inspire awareness and drive cultural vitality, economic growth and increased overnight visitation to Washington County, Oregon, will be given priority.

Who Can Apply:

Government agencies based in Washington County, Oregon; federally recognized confederated tribes; and 501(c) nonprofit organizations deeply rooted in and connected to the Tualatin Valley.

Applications July 1st—don’t miss your chance to bring your project to life and help shape the future of tourism in the Tualatin Valley.

Washington County Hotel Performance
May 2025

The performance of Washington County’s hotels continue to slide, as key performance indicators show decreases for the month of May, when compared to the same period in 2024.

Occupancy topped out at 62.9%, an 8.2% decrease over May 2024. The average daily room rate was $128.33, a decline of $6.22, or 4.6%, when compared to last year. Revenue per available room declined by $11.29 (12.5%) to $128.33.

Todd Davidson, CEO of Travel Oregon, Announces Retirement

After nearly 30 years of service, Travel Oregon CEO Todd Davidson is retiring. Davidson has been Travel Oregon’s CEO since 1996. During his tenure, the economic impact of Oregon’s tourism industry grew from $5 billion to where it sits today,  $14.3 billion, a 286% increase since 1996 and an all-time high for Oregon.
