The City of Sherwood Parks Department maintains and operates nine public parks, most notably Snyder Park which consists of a walking path, baseball fields, and an artificial turf soccer field.

City offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sherwood Regional Family YMCA features two basketball/volleyball courts, a 20 foot rock wall climb, a 25 meter lap pool, and a 12,000 square foot teen center. The center offers classes, youth programs, group exercise and more.

Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is a cornucopia of autumn goodness with pumpkins, winter squash, gourds, cornstalks and straw bales. Pick a pumpkin from the selection in the yard, or go to the pumpkin patch to pick. Grab a pumpkin and a bag of kettle corn to celebrate this festive time of year.

Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in September and October.

Nestled amongst the vineyards of Willamette Valley, the 19 Acres Cider Co.’s tasting room resides in a converted horse barn, thoughtfully updated with reclaimed wood accents and modern touches.

Visitors are invited to enjoy the scenic landscape through the floor to ceiling windows, or outside on one of their patios, while sipping a selection of curated beverages.

Tastings and single glass pours of 19 Acres Cider are available, along with a selection Oregon cider, beer, and wine. To complement the tastings, a selection of light food offerings are available, including charcuterie boards, house-made cider cheese with a soft pretzel, and rotating gourmet snacks.

The Sherwood Heritage Center is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Sherwood and Oregon. They offer monthly workshops and exhibits that allow visitors to understand Oregon history in an educational format. The Sherwood Heritage Center is open Wednesdays and Saturdays 1pm to 4pm.

Railroad Street Antique Mall is located in historic “Old Town” Sherwood, a haven for antique lovers. The store offers a wide variety of collectibles including toys and advertising, pottery and glassware, costume jewelry, furniture and much more.

DevonWood Equestrian Centre is an internationally recognized, privately owned, dressage boarding, training and show facility. Located in Sherwood, Oregon, DevonWood is home to Dressage at DevonWood, one of the largest annual dressage competitions in the Northwest.

DevonWood is primarily a dressage training stable, however, when the facility isn’t holding a dressage show or clinic, it is open to holding special events, conferences, or meetings in the DevonWood Clubhouse. Call for details.
