In 2020, the Parks & Recreation Department was looking for ways to bring the community together while staying safe. Large gatherings were to be avoided, but the need to connect was even stronger. Over a dark rainy winter, it was clear everyone needed some brightness, and the Tualatin Holiday Lights Parades were born. Vehicles lit up the night with sparkling lights and paraded through over 20 miles of neighborhood streets, past thousands of cheering fans.
Tualatin’s Holiday Lights Parade Series will be coming back bigger and brighter than ever this December. Watch the City Facebook page for updates on this year’s routes and how to be part of the fun.
