Eat on Beaverton’s Restaurant Row
Beaverton’s “Restaurant Row” is packed with some of the areas best places to eat and there’s plenty of outdoor seating. This area is becoming well known for being expansions of Portland favorites as well as new restaurants to love. There’s something for everyone, from fine dining at decarli to a quick lunch from the Whole Bowl. Beer, wine and coffee lovers will find something to sip and food options are perfect for the adventurous eater.
Warm-up with a big bowl of ramen at Afuri or spicy fried chicken from Big’s Chicken. Try something new at Top Burmese Bistro Royale or Nak Won. Enjoy a beer and Detroit-style pizza from Ex Novo or simply sip wine at Syndicate Wine Bar, where the outdoor seating area has been expanded into the perfect neighborhood spot. Syndicate often hosts live music and guests can enjoy their library of wines in the privacy of private tents for two.
Also coming throughout 2021, several new beer halls and pubs to solidify the area’s “beervana” status.

Pumpkin Ridge Zip Tour and Tree to Tree Adventure Park are Tualatin Valley’s premier zip line courses.
Pumpkin Ridge Zip Tour whisks guests through the forest canopy and past tall Douglas Firs and Western Red Cedars, with viewpoints usually exclusive to birds. Soar through the forest of trees in this family-friendly, guided zip tour through the tree on this 2- to 2.5-hour tour featuring seven zip lines through a beautiful forest and near the breathtaking Brunswick Canyon. Open year-round, zip from platform to platform for a unique and memorable way to experience the verdant natural landscape of the Tualatin Valley.
Tree to Tree Adventure Park is a unique “playground in the trees,” with aerial ropes course and zip-line park where adventurers can spend a day zipping from platform to platform, racing along the dueling zips, navigating the ropes course, and more. The park offers myriad adventures for the entire family, such as six aerial rope courses each with 10 tree-top obstacles to master; guided zip-line tours, with six “extreme” zip lines; dueling zips; tree-top bungee plunge from a 65-foot-high platform; and a 40-foot climbing tree. Zip through the trees along “Woody’s Ziptastic Voyage.” This guided zip-line tour featuring six extreme zip lines (including one that is 1,280-feet long), a bridge, and a 40-foot rappel. In addition to the zip tour, the park boasts six ropes courses of varying difficulty, racing zip lines, a bungee jump and more.
Visit the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals
The Smithsonian-affiliated Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals houses a world-class collection recognized as the finest in the Pacific Northwest and one of the best in the nation. The museum houses one of the world’s finest collections of crystals from worldwide localities. In addition you will see spectacular fossils, meteorites, petrified woods, oddities, fluorescents, lapidary arts and the best from the Northwest. The collection is housed in a unique 1953 ranch-style house which is now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The museum is a wonderful place for all ages.
