Here in the Pacific Northwest, visitors are abuzz about our coffees, but in recent years, it is our teas that are generating buzz.

British Teas

Tualatin Valley boasts a number of tea shops, where you can enjoy High Tea. Sip a cup of tea in the Steampunk and Victorian-inspired tasting room at Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium, or nibble on a scone at the venerable Tea’s Me.

Stash Tea

Stash Tea is an internationally known tea company, founded in Portland in 1972 by co-founder Steven Smith (who went on to start Tazo and Smith Teamaker teas). Today, it’s headquartered in the city of Tigard and visitors can stop by the Stash Tea Retail Store to buy loose-leaf and bagged teas.

Tea & Chocolate

The owner of Mamancy Tea Co. grew up drinking tea in Kenya as a family ritual ceremony. Located in Beaverton, Mamancy offers specially curated teas and chocolates made with ingredients from all over the world. Mamancy also offers a British-style high tea service.

Bubble Tea

Tualatin Valley has a vast selection of bubble tea shops. Milk+Tea in downtown Beaverton is the second location for this Los Angeles-based shop, and the first self-serve boba in the valley. Select milky or fruity teas and add ice cream for a sweet treat.

Mo Cha Tea House (with two locations) specializes in boba tea, Asian desserts, shave ice and more delights that are sure to satisfy a sweet tooth. The menu of milk teas include a variety of fruity, nutty, and traditional teas. Brewed teas are given an extra something-something with the addition of sea salt cream.

Using the best ingredients, Bubble N Tea elevates the typical bubble tea experience. With premium loose-leaf tea as the base choose from inventive flavors, multiple milk options and four levels of sweetness for each drink. Fruit and cotton candy add-ins are part of the fun, too.
