INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN TUALATIN VALLEY

Entertainment Centers and Arcades

It’s no secret that it rains in the Pacific Northwest. While some may brave the elements to take a brisk ride or walk, there are still many places that are ideal places to take refuge from the cooler weather.

Entertainment Centers

King Pins Family Entertainment Center in Beaverton is fun for the entire family for indoor fun. This center offers bowling, arcade, virtual reality experiences and laser tag. King Pins also has an on-site restaurant and bar with a full menu, cocktails and rotating tap list.

Also in Beaverton, Big Al’s is a bowling “lounge,” arcade and sports bar. This entertainment center is sports-focused and welcomes families for fun and games.

Langer’s Entertainment Center is another family-friendly attraction with a multitude of activities under one roof. This Sherwood center offers bowling, laser tag, arcade, jungle gym (for kids 10 and younger) and rock wall suitable for all ages. In addition to games, Langer’s has a family restaurant with a full menu and a bar with 22 taps, as well as an adults-only restaurant and bar with private bowling lanes.

Arcades

Next Level Pinball Shop and Museum is the largest pinball and retro gaming arcade in the Pacific Northwest. This family-friendly arcade features more than 235 pinball machines and more than 265 arcade games to play. Fans of retro pop culture will appreciate the collections of toys, action figures, lunch boxes and album covers that adorn the walls.

Arcade 2084 in downtown Hillsboro will take you back in time. The arcade is full of classic ’80s games with ’80s music pumping, giving it the perfect retro feel. Inside the arcade, a speakeasy, “Bar That Time Forgot,” serves specialty cocktails made from fresh juices and in-house mixes.

Reset Button is a classic arcade located in Tigard. For $10, get unlimited free-play for dozens of classic arcade games and pinball, no quarters, tokens or play cards required.  Their selection of games is continually expanding with nearly 75 available for play.

Tucked into a small storefront on Beaverton’s “Restaurant Row” is the latest venture from Sizzle Pie, which has a location in historic downtown Beaverton. Super Champ Bar Arcade features 18 classic and contemporary arcade games and pinball.

For indoor fun and games, make Tualatin Valley your next stop.
