Love of the earth and good wine, plus entrepreneurial spirit are what brings Bill and Sheila Blakeslee’s wines to life. Oregon natives, Bill and Sheila purchased their hillside vineyard property in 2005, with the idea of selling the fruit to other wineries.
The Blakeslees’ vision was to transform the vineyard into a sustainable vineyard, tasting room and events venue.
In 2006, their first vintage was produced, and soon they were regularly producing their own wines under the Blakeslee Vineyard Estate label.
In 2010, esteemed Napa Valley winemaker Robert Brittan joined the Blakeslee team as the winemaker, as they continue to produce acclaimed Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.
