Ezell’s Famous Chicken

Ezell’s opened its first (and only) location in Oregon in 2020. The family-owned business started in Seattle in 1984 and has grown into a Pacific Northwest icon. Famously known for being one of Oprah’s “favorite things,” Ezell’s Famous Chicken is served original or spicy and can be paired with homemade side dishes like mashed potatoes and gravy, heritage mac and cheese or slow-baked BBQ beans, just to name a few. Ezell’s even serves homemade peach cobbler and sweet potato pie. Currently open for takeout and delivery.

ChiMcking

Originating in Daegu, South Korea, ChiMcking opened its Beaverton Town Square location in late 2020. ChiMcking specializes in Korean chicken wings made from imported spices and sauces, as well as Korean beer. ChiMcking offers crunchy boneless or bone-in wings in three flavors: soy garlic, hot king and extra hot king. Also on the menu is a popular Korean food, Ddukbokki which is stir-fried rice cakes ChiMcking makes from a 50-year-old recipe from a specialty chef in Korea. Currently open for takeout or delivery.

Big’s Chicken

At their Downtown Beaverton location, Big’s Chicken welcomes everyone to try their Alabama-style chicken which is smoked and then slathered in a white barbecue sauce called “white gold.” Pair it with a tasty side of house-made coleslaw and signature Jo-Jos. Also on the menu is the popular Fried Chicken Sandwich served with slaw, pickles, white gold and Fresno sauce on a potato bun. Currently open for takeout or delivery.
